Write, re-write and review

It’s been an odd year, a difficult year.

Here in the UK we’re on our third lockdown, stuck at home in a bubble, with no travel for over 12 months now. I’ve been trying to use the time constructively and have just finished the first draft of Noctilucents Book 2!

Sorry, I’m going to keep teasing and not reveal the title quite yet, though hopefully in the next blog post! But the photos are a clue….

Now I’m onto the rewrite stage, going through polishing and making sure everything flows nicely. Then I’ll be working with Rowanvale again on the publication process including cover design. So, alas, don’t expect immediate publication - as much as I’d like that.

While I’m at this stage, I wonder if I could ask a favour? If you liked Martian Blood could you put a review up on Good Reads and/or Amazon? It really does help a lot - thanks! I’ve been reading all the ones to date to take onboard any suggestions for (or, indeed, criticism of) Book 1 to try and make Book 2 as good as possible.
