Noctilucents Volume Two: Selenium

I was thrilled to be invited by Rowanvale Books to be interviewed for their Sunday Spotlight feature, which you can read here. They asked a really interesting set of questions about my approach to writing, and in particular what I was currently working on.

It seemed a good time to go public with the name of Noctilucents Volume 2, which is:

Selenium

The root of the word is the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene, and as you might expect, that means our story will relate to some degree to the Earth’s moon - hence using its photo as a clue.

Alas I can’t say more than that without spoilers and there’s still a long way to go before publication…. but watch this space for updates!

We’ve had a lot of cloudy nights in London this year which hasn’t helped my astrophotography, but there were two clear evenings around the time of the last full moon when managed to take a couple of nice photos, such as the one above and this one:
